Elysée

I have a soft spot for baked goods, pastries, sweets, crepes, and local businesses.

Elysée Bakery is a home run.

Two cases full of delectable treats.

 Iced Chai.  Not too sweet,
very flavorful for nonfat.

Pseudo-Parisian decor.

Fresh fruit accompanying
the oatmeal.

Gorgeous pastries.

Brunch - Don Corleone Crepe
Prosciutto, Tomato, Pesto, Fresh
Mozzarella.  Great crepe and
combo.  Could have used a bit
saltier prosciutto (resembled ham
a little too much), but the
accompanying potatoes were
excellent.

Fruit tart with a Florentine/Tuille crust -
somewhat messy, but great fresh fruit and cream;
the florentine really adds an enjoyable dimension.

  1. Thanks for the fruit tart present! I'm going to try this crust at home instead of wrestling with pie crust.
